R: My grandmother was a lonely woman. She consoled herself with clothes shopping. On her deathbed, I asked if I could inherit all of her clothes. That was allowed, provided that I would actually wear the clothes! I promised her.

 

After her death at the beginning of this century, I put on all 740 clothes.

 

Corné Gabriëls helped capture this 4 day-long changing process with a 5 megapixel digital camera at the time.

 

I still wear her dresses. And now there is a book!
